What has happened to the left?
It has become perverted and is increasingly more irrelevant.
Additionally the peace movement in Israel is practically dead.
Sure, there is a small remnant still left, but most have become
hawks. Certainly hawks with regard to Hezbollah and some with regard to
the occupation (which if they fully understood their history and
Arab intentions would realize there is NO occupation).
George Galloway's speech at the Stop the War Coalition demonstration in
London Saturday:
"I am here to glorify the resistance, Hezbollah. I am here to glorify the
leader, Sheikh Hassan Nasrallah."
